Horizon Science Academy Cincinnati Welcomes Congresswoman Jean Schmidt.

On February 18th, 2010, Horizon Science Academy welcomed Congresswoman Jean Schmidt to visit their school and talk with their students. Jean stood in front of a classroom of around 50 high school students to discuss her career path and the different obstacles that she went through to get to where she is today.   Her message, “You can be anything that you want to be."

After 30 minutes of talking with students, she welcomed questions from students that ranged from personal career choices and thoughts, to her opinion on situations that are affecting our nation today. At the end of her visit the students’ welcome her with flowers and the school leaders sat with her to have lunch.
