OAPCS, 6 State Charter Associations and 6 School Districts at National Collaborative Practices Conference in Denver, Colorado

The Ohio Alliance for Public Charter Schools organized the second national conference on collaborative practices between districts and charter schools, this time in Denver, Colorado.  Seventeen states participated in the conference which was co-hosted by 6 school districts from Ohio and Colorado and 6 state charter associations, including the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.  The keynote speaker was Don Shalvey, deputy director, U.S. Education Programs for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
